Yes, finally. I sat down yesterday and started doing my own theme for whimsiArt.com.
After upgrading WordPress utterly hosed my gallery software installation, I decided to start over fresh, since there was barely anything up to begin with…
Here we are, fresh, new, and PRETTY.
Some details about the layout/theme:
- The only image used in the layout is the masthead, which I can easily replace with any other 900px by 150px image.
- Since no images were used for the general layout, I can do a quick find and replace on the color hex-codes to match the layout to any piece of artwork I decide to feature in my masthead.
- This page was tested using FireFox and IE7… it looks the best in FireFox (the rounded corners do not work in IE) Please let me know if you use a different browser and the page looks all wonky :)
That’s all for now… gonna go upload some artwork.
